Patrons Circle Save the Dates (2024-25)
For the 2024–25 Patrons Circle Save the Date, I created a visually striking digital piece in InDesign using the Museum’s established brand template (fonts and style guidelines). The impactful imagery of translucent fish, to underscore the sense of wonder and discovery that defines the Patrons Circle experience. The final design balanced clarity, elegance, and visual intrigue, providing members with an engaging and memorable first look at the season ahead.
Junior Council Save the Dates (2024–25)
I produced the Junior Council Save the Date brochures for consecutive seasons (2024–25 and 2025–26), working in InDesign to apply the Museum’s style templates while adapting them to reflect the unique spirit of the JC community. The brochure was carefully designed to highlight a year’s worth of programming, using bold imagery and a clean layout to showcase the vibrancy and variety of events. These brochures not only functioned as practical planning tools but also reinforced the Junior Council’s identity and the value of their yearly membership.

Junior Council Banner
I designed a digital banner to represent the Junior Council, used across all JC email communications. The banner serves as a visual identifier and unifying element in messaging—appearing in welcome emails to new and renewing members, as well as in my bi-weekly updates that highlight upcoming events and Museum initiatives. This project elevated the JC’s brand presence, creating consistency, recognition, and a sense of belonging for members across every touchpoint.
Programs In Action
Find below a selection of programs I’ve worked on at the Museum. Hover over these photos to explore the behind-the-scenes role I played in bringing them to life.
Member Star Party (staff photo): I revived the Member Star Party in 2023 (last seen in 2018) and continue to lead its production. Working with volunteers, educators, and astronomers to create a signature experience that connects members, aged 5-95, directly with science under the night sky.
Walk on the Wild Side I developed Walk on the Wild Side as a pilot, reviving a program provided to members for exercise and connection inside the Museum Halls during Winter months. I oversaw all aspects—from concept and instructor hiring to execution—positioning the Museum as a space for community and wellness.
Introducing a speaker at Science After Dark: welcoming members, setting the tone for the evening, and highlighting the Museum’s mission for young patrons (the Junior Council).
Patrons Circle Briefing (Hall of the Universe): the first-ever Patrons Circle Briefing, I planned the program under the supervision of the Director of Membership. This project showcased my ability to manage complex logistics and deliver a polished, high-impact member program, coordinating a moderator, the Museum’s President, and multiple senior staff who each presented.
I work with MEEP volunteers to deliver the Member Star Party, welcoming 600–800 guests each year.
Reserved Seating for Patrons (Asimov Debate): For high-profile programs like the annual Isaac Asimov Debate, I oversee the Patron experience. This includes a private reception before the program and reserved seating, ensuring our Members feel recognized and valued at marquee Museum events.
Family Scientist Experience: from interactive activities to animal encounters, I produce Family Scientist Experiences with the support of our Education staff. I handle logistics, member communication, and event flow to ensure families are able to be immersed in Museum science.
Special Program: A Conspiracy of Lemurs: I coordinated all aspects of this one-off lecture—from theater and AV set-up to supporting panelists with travel and presentation needs. Programs like this showcase the Museum’s global reach and allow me to connect members with its extraordinary depth of scholarship.
Patrons Circle Dinner (Gilder Center Set Up): My role is to ensure the program reflects the Museum’s mission, creating an elegant environment for our most dedicated Members.
Behind-the-Scenes Collection Tours: I collaborate with a range of departments—like the Herpetology team—to provide behind-the-scenes tours for Patron Circle Members. My role is to guide talent in shaping the program, manage the run of show, incorporate interactive elements to enhance learning, and create unique touchpoints that deepen member connections with Museum staff.
During Science After Hours, I manage the run of show—coordinating transitions, timing, and Q&A. My role is to ensure the program flows seamlessly, giving members the opportunity to engage directly with experts while keeping the evening polished and on schedule.
I manage both the behind-the-scenes preparation and the night-of atmosphere of Science After Dark. Whether the evening features scorpions, snakes, or any other unforgettable close-up encounters, my role is to keep the experience safe, engaging, and memorable.
Science After Hours (Astor Turret): In the Astor Turret’s intimate setting, I coordinate the details behind the scenes to ensure the evening unfolds smoothly for our Members.
At the JC and Corporate Holiday Party, our longtime balloon artist brings joy to members. I intentionally draw from vendors with a history at the Museum, ensuring that the talent we bring in not only entertains but also reflects a real connection with the institution and its community.
Each month at SciCafe, the Museum transforms into a space where science and community come together. The Public Programs team brings scientists from around the world to share their research, take live questions from New Yorkers, and make cutting-edge science feel accessible to everyone.
The first Public Programs team back after the pandemic. Rebuilding alongside them was a meaningful step in restoring the Museum’s in-person programs and re-establishing a sense of community to the building.
